The Four Nations Face Off got off to a great start this week, and with two major showdowns on Saturday, things are about to heat up even more for the NHL's return to international competition, with one of the most anticipated games in hockey history about to take place on Saturday night at the Bell Centre.
However, there's been plenty of drama with the national anthem's at the tournament, with Bruins captain and proud Canadian Brad Marchand expressing his displeasure at how this has been handled thus far in Montreal.
Now, Team Canada's captain Sidney Crosby has also answered questions around the fans booing of the United States anthem, giving a clear, concise answer when questioned about it.
With his focus clearly on the star studded United States roster opposite him, Crosby was not too interested in having a discussion about it, although he made his stance clear that he and the rest of the players on Team Canada respect the anthems of the US and every team involved in the tournament.
With the United States facing off against Canada on Saturday, the final game in Montreal before the tournament shifts to Boston, it's expected that fans will continue to voice their displeasure with the U.S. during the anthem, but one thing is for certain, Marchand and Crosby, who both captain US teams in the NHL won't agree with that.
