The Toronto Maple Leafs are finding their stride during the latter part of the National Hockey League season, but if they're not careful, they may be on the verge of losing a very valuable young forward due to lack of playing time and being unhappy.

According to Offside Hockey Talk, Maple Leaf forward Nick Robertson isn't happy with his current circumstances with Toronto and would welcome a trade to a team where he'll get a more consistent spot in the lineup; take a look

Nick Robertson is unhappy well colour me shocked young player who wants to get his footing and because he is able to slide through he has to be the company man and now he is letting it be known. Folks don't be so quick to run him out of town it will come back to bite us.

Robertson, 22, has been decimated my injuries so far early in his career. In 41 games this season, he has 8 goals and 11 assists for 19 points playing mainly in a bottom 6 role.

There's reason for him to be unhappy for sure, providing offence in Toronto's bottom 6 has been something they haven't had a lot of this season, but he's waiver exempt so he gets the short end of the stick.
