Florida Panthers defender left leaking blood all over the ice after taking puck to the face
The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently facing off against the Florida Panthers in game 2 of their second round series. After falling behind 2-0, the Panthers have fought back to take a 3-2 lead in the 2nd period.
As the Maple Leafs pressed hard to try and tie the game, a Florida Panthers defender unfortunately suffered what appears to be a serious injury. As a puck comes in from the point it catches Josh Mahura directly in the face. Blood began to immediately pool on the ice before Mahura was able to get to his feet and rush to the bench.
Hopefully Mahura is alright and the puck missed his eye.
