The Philadelphia Flyers have had a busy day today, first sending Ivan Provorov to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a slew of players and draft picks in a three team trade.

Then, it was reported that the Flyers had a deal in place for goaltender and one-time franchise cornerstone Carter Hart, but as Darren Dreger of TSN has said, that's not exactly the case; take a look

As for ongoing Carter Hart speculation. No question the Flyers are engaged in discussions, but at this stage they're «listening» and gauging the level of interest.

A trade for Hart is certainly not off the table, however, it's not as imminent as some other reports would've suggested earlier in the day. Listening to trade offers on a young goaltender with a tremendous upside is smart, although, he hasn't packed his bags yet.

Hart, 24, played in 55 games for the Flyers this season posting a record of 22-23-10 with 2 shutouts, a 2.94 goals-against-average and a.907 save percentage on a team that wasn't very good.

The speculation and potential trade market for Hart is certainly something everyone should keep an eye on, but at this point, he remains a flyer and will be until the organization finds a deal they like.
