The Columbus Blue Jackets and Buffalo Sabres are reportedly coming together to complete a trade.

According to reports out of Columbus, the Blue Jackets will be trading 28-year-old forward Eric Robinson to the Buffalo Sabres.

"Per multiple reports, Columbus is trading Eric Robinson to the Buffalo Sabres.

Stay tuned for more details."

It's unclear at the time of writing this what the Buffalo Sabres will be sending to the Columbus Blue Jackets in return, but it's hard to imagine that it would be anything more than a mid-round draft pick.

Robinson has split time this season between the Blue Jackets and their AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters. In seven games with the Blue Jackets, he's recorded one goal, while in nine games for the Monsters, the Bellmawr, New Jersey native has four points (one goal, three assists).

Meanwhile, according to Brian Hedger, it appears that Blue Jackets forward Emil Bemstrom, who's been in the AHL, is looking for a change of scenery. It's unclear however if he'll be involved in this deal with Buffalo.

"Sources have told the Dispatch that Bemstrom, who's racking up points for the Monsters after stalling out again with the Blue Jackets, is hopeful of moving elsewhere with a 'change of scenery' trade."

Stay tuned for more details.
