Breaking News - New Jersey Devils complete sign and trade involving Damon Severson
The Stanley Cup finals haven't even ended and teams are already working hard on their next year's rosters. Earlier this week the Columbus Blue Jackets acquired Ivan Provorov from the Philadelphia Flyers in a rare three team trade. Today the Blue Jackets jumped back into the trade market and made a big splash.
According to multiple insiders the Blue Jackets have now acquired the top ranked free agent defender Damon Severson.
Damon Severson is joining the #CBJ in a sign-and-trade with #NJDevils after agreeing to an eight-year contract, per sources.
Another pending UFA comes off CJ's Big Board.
Severson immediately signed an 8-year contract upon the trade.
