Two bitter rivals make rare trade

The National Hockey League is a business, trades happen all the time, but it very rare for two bitter rivals to do business with one another. That's exactly what just happened though.
The New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders have made a trade according to James Nichols of New Jersey Devils Hockey Now; take a look.

Going to the Islanders is Tyce Thompson, he is a 24 year old forward who has 5 assists with the AHL's Utica Comets this season. In 11 career NHL games Thompson has 1 assist.
Going to the Devils is 24 year old forward Arnaud Durandeau who has played 12 games for the Islanders AHL Affiliate, scoring 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points. Durandeau Had played 4 careeer NHL games with the Islanders registering no points.
This may be a minor trade, but it's still very interesting considering the rivalry.
