One of the best thing about today's National Hockey is that new players come in and show all kinds of skill. Wether that be on the ice or off of it.
Last night Buffalo Sabres goaltender Devon Levi was backing up Craig Anderson in his last NHL game and he realized he didn't have a black and red mask, yet, so he drew one himself, take a look:
Devon Levi will back up Craig Anderson in tonight's game against the Senators.
He doesn't have a black & red mask yet, so he grabbed some Sharpies and designed his own... 🤯
This takes some serious artistic ability and patience, not only is the design really well drawn, but it tells us a few things about Levi as a person.
Not only does he enjoy Star Wars, (one of the swords is a light sabre), he's also showing another side of himself while also making sure he fits in with the Sabres at the same time.
This is just another reason to love the new generation of talent coming into the NHL.
