Nashville Predators Suffer Brutal Blow As Veteran Ruled Out For The Remainder Of The Season

The 2024/25 campaign hasn't been a good one for the Nashville Predators, and now they've officially ruled out a star defenseman for the regular season as Roman Josi will take no further part in the Preds season.
This season has been an utter disaster for the Nashville Predators, but with the team likely getting a top draft pick this season, they'll be looking to bounce back in a big way in 2025/26 with a good off-season.
One of the only major positives for them this year however has been veteran Roman Josi, who has nine goals and 38 points in 53 games played thus far, but with the rest of the team struggling, he hasn't stood out as much as we are used too.
Unfortunately, the regular season is now over for the veteran defenseman, as it was announced that an upper-body injury would not allow him to compete for the remainder of the season as he will look to get healthy ahead of next year.
For Josi, it was a promising season, but with a lack of depth and skill around him, he didn't look like the player that had 71 points just three seasons ago and 62 last year, and if the team want to unlock that player once again in the final few years of his career, they'll need to make some big moves in the summer to turn things around ahead of 2025/26.
