NHL Journalist Doesn't Hold Back While Calling Out Gary Bettman And The NHL Following Recent Rule Change

Over the last few years, the NHL have made some changes to their Stanley Cup Playoffs format, and refused to make any other changes after fans and many alike have voiced that they didn't like these changes.

Unfortunately, it wasn't just fans as NHL superstar Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche, has recently called out he league for changing the 1-8 playoff format. Something that the league has been doing for years before Gary Bettman came along.

Not longer after Makar voiced his opinion, NHL Journalist, Scott Wheeler of The Athletic's, has taken to social media to reveal that most players what things to change along with several fans. But unfortunately, due to Gary Bettman and his ways, the league won't do anything.

Following these changes, Bettman made it clear that this change was a way to change and build new rivalries in the NHL, but after awhile fans are getting tired of seeing the same thing over and over.

The last four years we have been seeing the same matches in the first-round of playoffs, and every year more and more fans lose interest in the matchups, and this is something fans want to change because the first-round should be an exciting time.

However, despite all of the fans complaints Gary Bettman and the NHL will continue to do whatever they want without caring about what fans and players want.
