The New York Rangers are heading into Game 2 of the Rookie Series against the Philadelphia Flyers today in the PPL Center. The game will take place in Allentown, Pennsylvania, as the Rangers will look to get a win, with Blueline Station's report on game 1 detailing the results.

The New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers' two-game series will conclude tonight in Allentown, PA, in the PPL Center.
The Rangers prospect lost the first game of the series 4-3. The Blueshirts prospects will need to get a win in order to show the Flyers what they're made of.

The New York Rangers Game 1 Against the Philadelphia Flyers

Brennan Othmann would open the scoring in Game 1 during the first period. Othmann's goal would be accompanied by assists from Noah Laba and Scott Morrow, making an impact early.
Dylan Roorbeck would tally a goal, and it was assisted by Scott Morrow, which helped put the team up 2-0 over the Flyers' prospects.
The game would remain 2-0 until the Flyers' own Denver Barkey would score. The Rangers would get the man advantage, but would give up a shorthanded goal to Alexis Gendron, resulting in a tie game. Raoul Boilard would later put the Rangers back on top six minutes afterwards, with Bryce McConnell-Barker picking up an assist.
The Flyers wouldn't relent and would tie the game at 10:02 in the third period, which would lead to the need for overtime.
Overtime wouldn't last long, as Nikita Grebenkin only needed 57 seconds to put a nail in the Rangers' coffin for Game 1, ending the match 4-3 in the PPL Center.
The Rangers rookie camp roster is off Sunday, and will return to practice on Monday, the 15th, at 12:15 P.M.
The last day of training camp will begin on September 16th at 11 A.M.
We wonder who will be lucky enough to make it to the next round of camp, as they could get promoted to the "main" training camp. This all depends on how the team looks tonight.
Here's how to watch Game 2 tonight:
Game 2 gets underway at 5:00 p.m. at PPL Center in Allentown, PA. It is not being televised, but instead can be streamed online through the Philadelphia Flyers' official website.
