Hamonic's quick response prevents more damage at Canadian Tire Centre after glass knocked loose

Some repairs were needed Monday night in a game between the Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators.

A pane of glass near one of the corners of the ice was completely knocked out of place when the Sens' Travis Hamonic took a hit from Florida's Alexander Barkov.

A photographer capturing the action narrowly missed getting hit by it. Things could have been much worse for him had it shattered into pieces. Credit to Hamonic for grabbing one end of the pane to make sure nobody was hurt.

This is a very important game for both teams in regards to the wild card spots for the upcoming Stanley Cup Playoffs.

As it stands right now, Florida has a better shot than Ottawa, but the Senators aren't out of it by any means.
