Brady Tkachuk and the Senators are down 2-0 in their series against Toronto, and now he's called upon Ottawa fans to help them come back from their deficit.
Through two games of the Battle of Ontario, the Ottawa Senators are down 2-0 against the Toronto Maple Leafs, but now, the series shifts to the nations capital, with the Sens having a chance to make this one a genuine series.
While they've been outplayed thus far, the Senators now have a taste of Stanley Cup Playoffs action, but that doesn't make it any easier, especially against a tough, experienced Maple Leafs lineup.
One thing that did work against Ottawa was the crowd in Toronto, and now that they'll be on home ice, captain Brady Tkachuk has given an impassioned call to Senators fans to make it as loud as they can and give them the advantage in Game's 3 and 4.
I expected it to be as loud of a rink as I've ever heard. I know it's been a long time coming for Sens fans... This is a moment when we're really going to need them.
We've seen countless times before that a team down 0-2 returning home gets a major jolt from the fans in attendance, and given how desperate Senators fans have been for this for years now, it's safe to say that they shouldn't disappoint.
While it should give the team an added boost, there's only so much the fans can do, and unless they can find a way to score more than two goals or have
Linus Ullmark post better than a .800 save percentage, this series could be over, but with home ice advantage, there's a good chance for the Senators to shift momentum on Thursday.
