Brady Tkachuk was clearly annoyed when Senators fans were booing the U.S. anthem, and former NHLer Ryan Whitney issued a warning to all of these fans.
Spittin' Chiclets personality and host Ryan Whitney issued a warning to Senators' supporters that disrespecting the American national anthem could make captain Brady Tkachuk leave the team.
"Keep it up Sens fans and he'll say see ya," Whitney wrote.
In Whitney's view, this is an indication that things could go awry for Ottawa in the future in terms of keeping their American captain on their team.
It's not just Canadians booing anthems, as it's happening across the league
Anthem booing is a continuing saga in the NHL. American fans at Madison Square Garden last week gave their due "respects" to the Canadian anthem by booing it before the Rangers game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

This begs two questions. The first is, will Tkachuk want to leave Canada and go and play in the USA, and two, will the NHL decide to completely remove pregame anthems to avoid any potential further conflicts? It all remains to be seen.
