It's always great to have your parents in attendance when playing a hockey game, no matter what level you play at. However, when things get tense, they may just get to see the worst side of you.

Late in the third period in a game between the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins, a scrum broke out around the Pens net, with Ottawa's Mathieu Joseph and Pittsburgh's Kris Letang exchanging a couple of shots, and then some pleasantries. It just so happened that Joseph's parents were in attendance for the game, and their reaction to the situation was pretty funny. Joseph's mother looked at her husband with some serious concern, while he tried hard not to acknowledge her reaction. He couldn't help taking a side glance or two, though.

By the way, if you're wondering why Joseph's mother was wearing a Senators jersey while his father had on a Penguins one, Mathieu's brother Pierre-Olivier Joseph plays for Pittsburgh. It was one of those rare occasions where the parents get to see both of their sons in action at the same game. The Senators ended up winning 2-1 in overtime. Mathieu Joseph had an assist on Ottawa's first goal of the game.
