Among the names not were not issued a qualifying offer was former 11th overall pick Logan Brown, who now will become an unrestricted free agent.
Brown's time in St. Louis lasted just two seasons after he dealt to the Blues prior to the 2021-22 season, along with a conditional fourth-round pick by the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Zach Sanford.
In 69 games for the Blues, the Raleigh, North Carolina native had 17 points (six goals, 11 assists), 16 penalty minutes and was a minus-seven.
The 25-year-old is a big centerman at 6'6", 218 pounds and given how thin the free agent market is this summer compared to other years, he may be a good third or fourth line option for any team around the NHL on a league minimum contract.
