Brad Treliving reveals whether or not Craig Berube is on the hot seat

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has had his fair share of struggles throughout the season, and there has been discourse about his future.
If you have been paying attention to the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, you probably know and understand that the team is not great right now.
They are seventh in the Atlantic Division, and they keep losing to teams that they should be beating. It's been tough on the fans, who are starting to worry.
With that in mind, there have been lots of suggestions made when it comes to improving this team. Fans want trades, while others think Craig Berube should be fired as head coach.
Are the Toronto Maple Leafs firing Craig Berube?
Just moments ago, general manager Brad Treliving spoke to the media about his team and what needs to happen going forward.
As you can imagine, the GM was asked about his head coach and whether or not Berube's job is going to be safe, going forward. As it turns out, his job is very safe.
Treliving gave an endorsement of Berube and made it clear that as of right now, there is no reason to fire or make a change.
I have all the faith in our coach right now.
For some, this may have come as a huge surprise, although it shouldn't be when you consider how Berube has clout within the front office.
His influence was increased over the summer, and we doubt that MLSE would be keen to get rid of him so soon.
The Leafs play the St. Louis Blues tonight, and a win could solve everything. Only time will tell if the Leafs can get it going.
