Craig Berube kicks two Toronto Maple Leafs forwards to the curb against the Hurricanes

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a big game against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight, and with the lineup set in stone, two forwards have been kicked to the curb.
On Saturday, the Toronto Maple Leafs had an offensive explosion against the Pittsburgh Penguins and won that game by a score of 7-2.
It was a decisive victory, although one that was unconvincing. After all, one game is hardly enough to say that a team has managed to turn its season around.
However, on Tuesday night, the Leafs followed this up with a 5-1 win against the Florida Panthers. Now, there is this sense that the tides have turned.
As we reported earlier this morning, Joseph Woll is going to be the starting goalie tonight. Furthermore, head coach Craig Berube is keeping his lineup exactly the same.
Unfortunately, this is bad news for two Toronto Maple Leafs forwards, who have been victims of the team's recent success.
Matias Maccelli and Calle Jarnkrok are in the doghouse
Those two forwards are Matias Maccelli and Calle Jarnkrok. Both players have been healthy scratches over the last two games, and with the lineup staying the same, they will be out against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Jarnkrok has four goals and zero assists this season, while Maccelli has nine points in 22 games, but has been a liability on defense at times.
Below, you can find what kind of lineup the Leafs are going with tonight.
Knies - Matthews - Domi
Cowan - Tavares - Nylander
Joshua - Roy - McMann
Lorentz - Laughton - Robertson
Maccelli, Jarnkrok
Rielly - Ekman-Larsson
McCabe - Stecher
Benoit - Myers
Mermis

If the Leafs keep winning, then Maccelli and Jarnkrok won't be drawing back into the lineup, unless an injury presents itself. With that in mind, one has to wonder if both players could be on the trading block.
