Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz is dealing with an injury right now, and at this point, Craig Berube isn't saying anything positive.
Anthony Stolarz has been out for almost a month, and the goaltender still hasn't resumed skating with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
This is a huge problem, especially when you consider how the Leafs are also dealing with an injury to Joseph Woll, who is likely to be out for another week.
On Sunday, the goaltender was nowhere to be found, and once again, the goaltender was nowhere to be found, which had journalists feeling suspicious.
Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube spoke to reporters after the practice, and it was here that he was asked about what's going on with Stolarz.
Craig Berube offers update on Anthony Stolarz
The head coach didn't have anything good to say, noting that he actually has no clue what is going on with his own goaltender. Of course, this is causing major issues within the franchise.
There's actually not right now. He's still not on the ice, so I'm not sure yet where he is at.
If Stolarz can't get back on the ice anytime soon, then the Maple Leafs are in big trouble, and we wouldn't be surprised if the team has a discussion about what's going on.
Stolarz and the Leafs continue to drop the ball here, and we can only speculate as to what is going on within the organization.
If you are a Maple Leafs fan, it is hard to imagine what is going on right now. In fact, it's hard to even be hopeful about the situation.
For now, patience is the only thing Leafs fans can have, and at this point, their patience is beginning to run out, fast.
