Craig Berube Makes Hilarious Yet Concerning Statement About Nathan MacKinnon

The Toronto Maple Leafs won a couple of nights ago against the Calgary Flames and it went a long way in cementing them as a team to watch in the race for the Atlantic Division.

But now, they have to keep up the momentum especially with their back-to-back games coming up against teams like the Colorado Avalanche and the New York Rangers.

The first team Berube has to prepare his team for is the Avalanche who boast the talents of superstar forward and MVP candidate, Nathan MacKinnon.

In just 68 games this season, MacKinnon already has 103 points which is absolutely phenomenal.

The Maple Leafs are going to have to find a way to stop this and, of course, Craig Berube is the one who is going to have to come up with the strategy.

Prior to the game, the head coach was asked about what the team must do to at least slow MacKinnon down. This led to some hilarious comments that may also come across as a bit concerning to some people.

Superstars are superstars for a reason and there is arguably just a couple of players ahead of MacKinnon when you think of the best player in the entire NHL.

However, the Leafs cannot let this discourage them as they still have a very important job to do tonight.

They are currently two points behind the Florida Panthers for first in the Atlantic Division and if they win this game, then they are going to be tied, albeit with some help from the Panthers themselves.

Either way, the stakes are high with 15 games to go and now is a great time for the Toronto Maple Leafs to build themselves some momentum.
