Craig Berube Reveals Who the Toronto Maple Leafs' Starting Goalie Will be This Season
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was recently asked about the goaltending situation and who will start between Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll.
Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll are the two goalies for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and going into this season, there will be strong competition between the two.
Last season, both goaltenders split the net for the majority of the season, and it turned out to be a lot of fun, with both playing their best hockey.
While Stolarz was the better netminder, there is no denying that Woll held his own and can be a starter in his own right.
Needless to say, head coach Craig Berube has his work cut out for him, and it is not going to be easy for the coach to make decisions throughout the season.

According to Maple Leafs Hot Stove, Berube was asked about the goaltending situation and how he is going to approach things.
While he would not commit to a starter out of the gate, he did acknowledge that we will likely see both goalies get an equal amount of starts. Simply put, it's the same as last year.
I don't think it changes from last year. I think we have a great tandem here. You have to use both guys, especially in today's game with the schedule being the way it is. Both goalies are going to play. It'll play itself out throughout the season, but I see both goalies getting significant starts throughout the year.
For Maple Leafs fans, this will be good news. There is no point changing a good thing, especially in relation to your goalies.
At the end of the day, having two functioning goalies is the best thing that a team can have, and that puts the Leafs in the upper echelon of the league.
Hopefully, Berube continues to manage things the right way.
