Craig Berube unleashes on the Maple Leafs after another embarrassing performance

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was very upset last night as the team put up an awful performance against the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Craig Berube and the Maple Leafs found themselves in a pretty bad spot on Friday night as they lost by a score of 6-3 against the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
For the most part, it was a pretty terrible showing from the Maple Leafs, who should have shown a lot more urgency given the fact that they were playing Mitch Marner.
The grand return of Marner to Toronto should have been enough motivation to get things going, but in the end, that was not the case.
Ultimately, it was a poor showing from the Leafs as a whole, and with the playoff race slowly losing steam, there were some angry people involved.
Craig Berube is not happy with his Maple Leafs
Of course, Berube was one of them, and he let those feelings be known. After the game, he unleashed on the Leafs, noting that this team has to be better.
We have to have more. The standard has to be better and higher. We're at home. We're not playing consistently enough with the urgency that is needed.
If you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, then this situation is certainly one that you can't help but be upset about, with the Leafs playing some poor hockey.
It felt like the team was finally turning the corner, but now, they haven't won a game in regulation in seven matches, which is extremely concerning.
The Colorado Avalanche are coming up on Sunday, and one has to wonder whether or not this is going to be a winnable game for the Leafs.
If the Leafs cannot beat the Avalanche on Sunday, then their playoff hopes could be officially over.
