Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann is likely to be traded at the deadline, and there are four teams that are currently frontrunners for the forward.
Bobby McMann is someone who the Toronto Maple Leafs would love to have on the team going forward, but it might not be smart to do that.
At the end of the day, McMann is a phenomenal player. He has been of great value to the Maple Leafs over the past few years.
However, the big issue is that the team wants to sell at the trade deadline, and McMann is a player whom teams are lining up to acquire.
His value has never been higher, and there are reports that the Maple Leafs could even get a first-round pick for the winger.
Bobby McMann has interest from numerous teams
According to Nick Kypreos, there are four teams that have emerged as prime candidates to acquire McMann from the Maple Leafs.
Those four teams are the Ottawa Senators, the Florida Panthers, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Anaheim Ducks.
Surprisingly, there is only one Stanley Cup contender here. The other teams are either on the playoff bubble or have no chance.
Overall, the Maple Leafs have some tough decisions to make. This is especially true when you factor in the fact that the Leafs are still in the playoff hunt.
They could realistically keep the roster together and make the postseason with the right push. However, they also seem committed to just selling.
It is a tough spot for general manager Brad Treliving to be in, and we certainly do not envy the position he has been thrust into.
