Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving is in an interesting position right now as the team looks to fix up its roster for the rest of the season.
Brad Treliving and the Toronto Maple Leafs are in a very interesting position due to the fact that they are expected to be trade deadline sellers.
Guys like Bobby McMann, Max Domi, and even Nicolas Roy are seen as players who could very well be on the move in short order.
The trade deadline is on March 6th, but in an hour from now, it will be the NHL Roster Freeze ahead of the Olympic break.
Teams are looking to get some deals done before then, and the Toronto Maple Leafs have been linked to various other teams.

However, according to Pierre LeBrun, it appears unlikely that the Maple Leafs will actually be able to get anything done.
The Maple Leafs have been pretty busy over the last couple of days in terms of chatter, but doesn't mean necessarily that we'll have anything come the [Olympic] trade freeze
Fans are simply going to have to be patient and wait a few weeks until everyone is back from the break and healthy.
The Leafs are on a three-game winning streak, and Treliving might be tempted to think long and hard about whether or not his team has a shot at the postseason.
It's a tough situation to be in, and we don't believe the general manager is in an enviable position, whatsoever.
With that being said, some big decisions need to be made, and this is why a general manager like Treliving gets paid the big bucks.
