Mitch Marner is returning to Toronto tonight as a member of the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and the Maple Leafs are prepared for whatever happens.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Las Vegas Golden Knights tonight, and it is a very important game due to the fact that Mitch Marner is returning to the city.
Fans are excited to see how this is going to play out, although there is no telling whether or not the Leafs are going to be up to the task.
They have dealt with quite a few injuries this season, and there have been fears that the Leafs would struggle to get themselves over the hump amid a playoff push.

Maple Leafs lineup vs. Mitch Marner and the Golden Knights

Earlier today, the Leafs had a morning skate, and as you are going to see, the team opted to go with a lineup that is very familiar to most fans these days.
The first line will consist of Bobby McMann, Auston Matthews, and Max Domi. From there, Matias Maccelli, John Tavares, and Matthew Knies will be on the second line.
The third line is Easton Cowan, Nicolas Roy, and Nick Robertson. Lastly, Steven Lorentz, Scott Laughton, and Calle Jarnkrok make up the fourth line.
McMann - Matthews - Domi
Cowan - Roy - Robertson
Maccelli - Tavares - Knies
Lorentz - Laughton - Jarnkrok

McCabe - OEL
Rielly - Carlo

Thrun - Myers

This is a lineup that is a tad uninspired, all things considered. However, this should not come as a surprise to anyone, given the Leafs' situation.
Without William Nylander on the ice, there isn't much that the Maple Leafs are able to do right now, and that is not going to change anytime soon.
Only time will tell whether or not this will be good enough for the Leafs to knock off the Golden Knights.
