Maple Leafs make stunning Anthony Stolarz announcement against the Golden Knights

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been looking to make his grand return, and it appears as though tonight is the night against the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
With Joseph Woll struggling as of late, there have been some prayers for goaltender Anthony Stolarz to return from his upper-body injury.
He has been ramping up his ice time at practice as of late, and this has certainly led to some optimism that he will get to play in some critical games for the Leafs.
Of course, tonight is as critical as they come, with the Las Vegas Golden Knights taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs in Mitch Marner's return to the city.
Just moments ago, the Leafs took to the ice for morning skate, and there was a surprise waiting for the fans in the starter's net.
Anthony Stolarz starts for the Toronto Maple Leafs
Anthony Stolarz appears to be the starter tonight. He was in the starter's net and was taking starter reps. He was also the first goalie on the depth chart for the lineup.
With that in mind, it seems pretty clear that the netminder is going to be given the keys to the crease for tonight's pivotal matchup.
The Leafs are trying to stay in the playoff hunt right now, and with Stolarz in net, they have a pretty decent chance of coming through with a win, if he harkens back to his play from last season.
It has been two months since we have seen Stolarz in the net, so we wonder whether or not he will be able to deal with the workload.
The Leafs are trying to make the playoffs right now, and a win against the Golden Knights is very necessary, regardless of the Mitch Marner angle.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can make it happen, or if this is going to be another one of those games that they let slip away.
