Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are facing off against the Washington Capitals, and the Leafs are looking to make a big impression with their lineup.

On Thursday, they play the Washington Capitals, and this is not going to be an easy game, especially since they've already lost to the Capitals once this season.
In order to get the win tonight, the Leafs have to come correct with their lineup, and it appears as though Craig Berube has a plan.

There are some big changes to the lineup tonight, although, for the most part, it does feel like the team is going back to basics in some respects.
Firstly, it is important to note that William Nylander will remain on the top line with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies. From there, Easton Cowan joins the second line with John Tavares and Nick Robertson.
Max Domi is demoted all the way to the fourth line with Scott Laughton and Steven Lorentz. The third line consists of Dakota Joshua, Nicolas Roy, and Bobby McMann.

This is a solid lineup, and one that could certainly make a big impact offensively. They just need to make sure they play a full 60 minutes.
An effort like the one they gave on Tuesday is not going to work against a team like the Washington Capitals. The Leafs have to be on their Ps and Qs.
There is a lot riding on this game, and with four points separating them from a playoff spot, they have no choice but to play well.
