Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has set his lines against the Ottawa Senators, and as you are going to see, Easton Cowan has been snubbed again.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Ottawa Senators tonight, and head coach Craig Berube has to make some very difficult decisions.
Just moments ago, we reported that he named Joseph Woll as the starting goalie tonight, with Dennis Hildeby taking the reins on Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings.
As for the lineup, there is pressure on Berube to put together some lines that will generate some offense and make everyone happy.
This means scratching two forwards. Rookie Easton Cowan was scratched two games in a row, and now, Berube is making it three.

Cowan has been one of the few players pulling his weight, although that doesn't seem to matter because he's gone from the lineup again.
Instead, Max Domi will play on the first line with Auston Matthews and Bobby McMann. Matthew Knies has been hit with a huge demotion, as he goes to the third line with Nicolas Roy and Nick Robertson.
The second line consists of Matias Maccelli, John Tavares, and even William Nylander. The fourth line is Dakota Joshua, Steven Lorentz, and Scott Laughton.

Knies is having the worst stretch of his career, so this really should not come as that much of a surprise, all things considered.
However, if one thing is for certain right now, it is that the Leafs are making bold moves. They are in last place in the Atlantic Division, and they are doing everything they can to change that.
