Last night, Max Domi took to Instagram, where he revealed that his grandfather, Harold, had passed away.
It was a devastating announcement that had all of Leafs Nation rallying behind the forward. Today, it was revealed that Domi would briefly step away from the team so that he could be at his grandfather's funeral.
The forward missed practice this morning, around the same time that it was revealed that Joseph Woll would be taking a family-related leave of absence.
This is clearly a very difficult time for the multi-generational Maple Leafs, who had some truly beautiful words about his grandfather on social media.

In an Instagram post, Domi revealed just how much he is going to miss his grandfather.
