Nicolas Roy reveals the truth behind the Maple Leafs' locker room problems

The Toronto Maple Leafs lost to the Nashville Predators on Saturday, and after the game, Nicolas Roy spoke on the team's lackluster mentality.
Nicolas Roy currently has three goals and eight assists this season with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and has consistently been the third line center.
He scored a goal on Saturday against the Nashville Predators, but it was not enough to get his team a win, as the Leafs lost 5-3.
The Leafs now find themselves dead last in the Atlantic Division, and they are also second-to-last in the entire Eastern Conference.
Things are getting pretty bad, and analysts cannot help but speculate on why these Leafs are having such a hard time getting momentum going.
Nicolas Roy gets honest about the Toronto Maple Leafs
After Saturday's game, Roy gave his own explanation of what might be going on, and for all intents and purposes, it is a huge indictment of this team.
He believes the problem in the locker room is that guys aren't playing to win. They're trying not to lose, and it has led to their predicament.
There's definitely a shift we got to do mentally where you never want to play not to lose. You want to play to win, so not sit back. I think play our game, impose our game. I think we're playing a little too much 'we don't want to lose'
Tonight against the Dallas Stars, the Maple Leafs need to win, otherwise, things could get extremely ugly, and it would be deserved.
Head coach Craig Berube could lose his job. Guys like Auston Matthews and William Nylander could lose their reputations.
The only remedy to this stuff is winning, and the Leafs have unfortunately shown that they just aren't capable of doing that.
