With the Toronto Maple Leafs looking to add depth to their organization, including the Toronto Marlies, they have announced two more free agency signings today.

While the Maple Leafs have not been able to add a ton of players to their NHL roster, they have made some gains when it comes to the Marlies.
Over the past week or so, the Leafs have announced numerous Marlies signings. From forwards to defenseman to goalies, it is clear that the team is working overtime.
Having said that, the Marlies made another announcement today, this time involving two forwards who were already on the team.

Toronto Marlies bring back Cedric Pare and Sam Stevens

Below, you can see that the team has signed Cedric Pare and Sam Stevens. Both players are getting one-year contracts.
While some weren't sure what would happen to these players, it is clear the Leafs felt like it was important to keep them around.
Now, they get to stay in Toronto for the next year and will be viable options for the lineup.
The Toronto Marlies announced today that the hockey club has signed forwards Cédric Paré and Sam Stevens to one-year AHL contracts.

Paré, 25, collected 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists) in 59 games with the Marlies this past season. The 6'3», 205-pound forward has recorded 95 points (39 goals, 56 assists) in 207 career regular season AHL games while collecting six points (four goals, two assists) in nine career Calder Cup playoff games. The Lévis, Quebec native was originally selected by the Boston Bruins in the sixth round (173rd overall)of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Stevens, 25, appeared in 21 games this past season with the Marlies, registering four points (2 goals, 2 assists). In 142 NCAA games, the Montreal native registered26 goals and 24 assists, all with Boston University. Prior to his collegiate career, the 6'1, 183-pound forward appeared in 107 career USHL games with the Chicago Steel, Des Moines Buccaneers and captured the Clark Cup with the Sioux Falls Stampede in 2019.

It will be interesting to see what the Leafs are able to do next, especially now that they have a bit of extra cap space to work with.
No matter what, this offseason is going to continue to be interesting for the Toronto Maple Leafs and all of the fans who have a rooting interest.
So far, Brad Treliving has made do with what he has, and that is quite admirable.
