Tonight is a huge opportunity for the Toronto Maple Leafs to win back-to-back games, although they need to field a lineup that can get the job done efficiently.

After a win against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to keep their momentum alive against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Going into this game, we know that the Maple Leafs are going to be starting their backup goaltender, Cayden Primeau, who hopes to start the season 3-0.
Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets will be starting Elvis Merzlikins, a goaltender who has largely struggled over the past couple of seasons.

Toronto Maple Leafs go with a familiar lineup

As for tonight's lineup, nothing concrete has been announced so far. However, you can expect a similar lineup to what we saw last night.
This means Bobby McMann, Auston Matthews, and William Nylander will be on the first line. Meanwhile, Matias Maccelli, John Tavares, and Matthew Knies will play on the second line.
The third line consists of Dakota Joshua, Niholas Roy, and Easton Cowan. Lastly, the fourth line contains Nick Robertson, Max Domi, and Steven Lorentz.

The defensive pairings are a bit jumbled as Morgan Rielly is playing with Philippe Myers, Simon Benoit is with Jake McCabe, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson is with Brandon Carlo.
This lineup got the Leafs through last night's game against the Calgary Flames, and they have a path to getting the job done against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
No matter what, this is going to be an interesting game and a barometer of this team's potential.
