Jack Eichel steals himself a very special souvenir after hat trick goal
Jack Eichel has been criticized throughout his entire career for not having what it takes to take a team to the next level. That's exactly the reputation Eichel is trying to overcome as he looks to make his first playoff appearance of his career. With Vegas Captain, Mark Stone out of the lineup, the success of the team has fallen fully on Eichel's shoulders.
Eichel has taken the challenge and handled it admirably. After a slow stretch to begin the 2023 calendar year, Eichel has found his stride and has 54 points, in 56 games this season.
Yesterday the Knights faced off against the Columbus Blue Jackets in an afternoon game. The Knights easily handled the Jackets winning the game 7-2. The Knights were led by a 3 goal effort by Jack Eichel.
After Eichel scored his hat-trick goal the fans littered the ice with hats. As the ice crew cleaned up the hats, Eichel happened to notice something in the pile that he opted to grab for himself.
The Knights currently sit 1st in the Pacific Division and Eichel finally appears set to make his playoff debut this spring.
