Corey Perry goes after Ben Harpur after the final horn and quickly finds out why that's a bad idea
The New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning played a physical game last night at MSG. After multiple big hits and fights the referees were likely happy to hear the final horn. Unfortunately the final horn didn't indicate the end of the action.
After the final whistle tempers continued to boil. Corey Perry, who had already dropped the gloves with Vincent Trochek earlier in the game wanted another dance partner. After pulling away from a linesman, Perry went after Ben Harpur.
Harpur made short work of Perry landing solid shots before taking him to the ice.
After the fight Harpur had a laugh at Perry's expense. Both men were given 5 minute majors and nothing else arose between the two teams.
