In the midst of a busy week in the National Hockey League, Tuesday brought a great moment that fans wait for every single year - the announcement of the Hall of Fame class.

The Hockey Hall of Fame Selection Committee Chairman Mike Gartner announced that the following seven individuals have been inducted in 2024:

14-year NHL veteran Pavel Datsyuk and two-time Olympic gold medalist Shea Weber are being inducted in their first year of eligibility, something that was likely expected by many in the hockey world. As for Jeremy Roenick, he's been waiting a very long time to be inducted after his playing career came to a close in 2009.

The 2024 Hall of Fame Class will be officially inducted in Toronto, Ontario later this year on Monday, November 11th where they'll be honoured at a gala. The seven individuals will receive their Hall of Fame jacket and plaque that will be on display in the Esso Hall.
