A second member of the 2018 World Junior team has taken a leave of absence from his NHL team, in what appears to be very odd timing.
Moments ago, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that starting goaltender Carter Hart would be stepping away from the team indefinitely, citing personal issues as the reason for his absence.

This is the second time in the span of a few days that a member of Canada's 2018 World Junior team has asked for and been granted an indefinite leave from their respective NHL team, with Dillon Dube being the other.
We of course hope everything is okay with their respective families, but this is definitely very odd timing considering the investigation that's been ongoing.
This is certainly something to follow, from the looks of it, the findings of that investigation might be close to coming out to the public.
