Anna Kane issues a statement about her perceived insensitive Instagram post after Evander's horrific injury
Last night in Tampa Bay, Evander Kane suffered a horrific wrist injury that required immediate surgery to repair damage. After Kane left the ice it was reported that "help" could be screamed for from the Edmonton Oiler's locker room. It was a dangerous situation and there was a significant risk to Evander Kane's life.
While most people were concerned about Evander's health, his ex-wife Anna was thinking about other things. Or at least that's how it seemed... Anna took to her Instagram story last night to share the following images.
Late last night Anna Kane removed the post from her Instagram story without an explanation. This morning she has taken to her story to clarify her post and claim that was not her intention.
Just to clear the air, my life is my own and doesn't revolve around anyone but me, my family and my daughter... but in no way shape or form would I ever wish harm or be happy for someone to be injured EVER. Period. End of Story.

Given her history I'm not sure Anna deserves to be offered the benefit of the doubt here or she's just trying to do damage control for her actions. Either way it's good to know Evander is doing well after a successful surgery.
