Boston Bruins legend honoured before puck drop this afternoon

When you think about the Boston Bruins, one of the first players that come to mind is Zdeno Chara. He embodies everything you want a Bruin to be.
Spending 14 of his 24 seasons in the NHL with the Bruins and signing a1 day contract to retire as a Bruin earlier this really tells you how much the city of Boston and the Bruins have meant to Chara throughout his career.
Before puck drop against the Minnesota Wild this afternoon, the legend Bruin legend was honoured with a video tribute:
In 1,023 games played with the Bruins Chara collected 148 goals and 333 assists for a total of 481 points.
Chara will go down as one of the best bruins defenders to ever play.
