Brady Tkachuk has a goal called back, so he beats up Mark Friedman instead
With the Ottawa Senators trailing the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1, in the 3rd period, Brady Tkachuk thought he'd narrowed that lead. Unfortunately for Tkachuk a quick whistle by a referee negated his goal.
Mark Friedman was unhappy that Tkachuk had put the puck into the net after the whistle. Friedman immediately threw down his gloves, which probably wasn't his best decision. Friedman quickly ate a few right hands before being taken down.
Both men received 5 minute majors for fighting. The Senators were unable to overcome the deficit and ended up falling by the 4-1 score.
