Breaking News - Matthew Tkachuk has been traded to an Eastern Conference team
The Matthew Tkachuk saga is over almost as quickly as it started. After informing the Calgary Flames he had no intentions of signing a contract, Tkachuk was immediately placed on the trade block. Less than 3 days later, Tkachuk has a new home.
According to Insider Frank Seravalli, Tkachuk has been traded to the Florida Panthers.
Tkachuk immediately signed a MASSIVE extension with the Panthers.
Matthew Tkachuk traded to Florida Panthers $76 mill over 8 years
The Flames received a huge return in exchange for Tkachuk.
