Last night during the game between the Seattle Kraken and Vancouver Canucks, Tyler Myers took a run at Seattle forward Matty Beniers for no particular reason. Myers who stands at six foot eight uses his stick to cross check Beniers right to the ice. Beniers didn't even have the puck on his stick at the time, and on the play his head appears to strike the ice.

Myers received a minor penalty on the play for interference. Perhaps like the rest of his teammates he's frustrated with the way things continue to go for Vancouver. Tyler Myers is not notoriously known for making dirty hits. It sure seems like things are reaching a boiling point with the Canucks. Even their calmer players are starting to let their emotions get the best of them. Their season has turned into a total embarrassment. Despite the Canucks implementing new head coach Rick Tocchet, the Kraken were easily able to take care of the Canucks beating them 6-1.

Perhaps Myers will waive his modified no trade clause to get out of Vancouver and playing with a team that has a direction.

Today the Kraken announced that Calder Trophy favorite, Beniers was now considered day-to-day with an upper body injury.
