In an off-season that has been filled with disappointment, the Calgary Flames and their fans finally have something to cheer about. After losing both Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk, the Flames have been able to retain one of their own restricted free agents.
While some feel $5,800,000 for Mangiapane is a bit of an overpay, the forward put up 35 goals last season and 20 assists.
