Chicago Blackhawks may have an easier time offloading this defender when cap raises

The Chicago Blackhawks are in the middle of a tear-it-down-to-the-studs rebuild and it doesn't look like they'll be stopping for some time, however, they might have to wait a little longer to trade a certain defender.
According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times, it might get a little easier to trade Seth Jones soon, but not until the salary cap rises a little bit next season.
Jones, 28, has been the subject of trade rumours for some time, but there's been one hang up, his 9.5 million dollar cap hit. With the way the cap is this season, virtually no contending team has the space to take on his cap hit this season.
However, should it happen to rise by a significant amount this coming off-season, teams may circle back. I don't know many teams that wouldn't want to add a generally proven 50 point plus defender.
If jones has another good season in Chicago this year, teams could be lining up.
