Columbus Blue Jackets forward absolutely crushes Washington Capitals defender
The Washington Capitals faced off against the Columbus Blue Jackets in Tuesday night action. The two teams are headed in very different directions. The Capitals are looking to push for the playoffs, while the Blue Jackets appear headed towards the best odds of drafting Connor Bedard.
One thing the Blue Jackets haven't lost this season is their competitive spirit. During the 2nd period of tonight's game, Sean Kuraly saw an opportunity to deliver a huge hit and he took it. As Nick Jensen tried to clear the puck from his zone he got caught looking down when Kuraly delivered the hit.
The hit sent Jensen to the ice, but he remained in the game. This was one of the biggest hits of this season and one of those hits that are far more rare in today's NHL.
