Connor Bedard gets flattened, things get heated as teammates immediately jump to his defence
Well, the game between the Florida Panthers and Chicago Blackhawks. Not only does Connor Bedard have 2 goals at the end of two periods, things have also been heated as well.
Near the end of the second period, Bedard gets absolutely hammered by Panthers defender Dmitry Kulikov; take a look:

Nick Foligno doesn't take too kindly to that and goes after Kulikov. He was given 4 minutes in penalties for his troubles which the Hawks would kill off.
You never like having to kill off penalties, but when you're standing up for a star, especially one like, your coach will be okay with it. As long as you show the Panthers they can't get away with a hit like that.
Bedard is okay, he bounced up right away, but, that's a scary play nonetheless.
At the end of the 2nd period, the Panthers and Hawks are tied at 2.
