Hockey is almost back and with training camps around the corner, the various rookie tournaments are well under way. With that being said, all eyes are on this years 1st overall pick, Connor Bedard. It didn't take long for him to show why at the Tom Kurvers prospect showcase.
Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks took on the St. Louis Blues and he showed off his lethal shot beating the Blues starting goaltender and, holy, was it a thing of beauty; take a look.
It is only the rookie showcase, but it if this is any indication, it doesn't look like he's going to be intimidated by the spot light in the slightest. Before long, that curl and drag between the dots will be seen all over, if it hasn't been already.
