I don't know what it is about the holiday season, but it seems people become emboldened to do things they normally wouldn't do during most days of the year.
On December 30th, former NHL player Matthew Barnaby took to Twitter to share some heartbreaking news, take a look:
My JEEP just got stolen from my driveway. I really hope the people that stole it get hurt bad driving it to Montreal to send over seas
Barnaby had his car stolen from his driveway while he was sitting at home. There seems to be an uptick in stolen vehicles in recent years, especially between Christmas and New Years.
Let's hope for his sake, Barnaby didn't have too many valuables in his car at the time it was taken.
I don't understand why people think it's okay to do things like this. I don't think they understand who they crossed either. Barnaby was one tough customer during his playing days, the thieves are lucky he wasn't able to catch them or they would have been in trouble.
