Goalie struck in head by falling glass after light shatters over his head (Video)
I've played hockey in some interesting locations before and in those rinks I've seen some peculiar setups. This situation is definitely up there with some of the strangest setups you'll see. This video was shared via Instagram by user eraud3hockey.
In the video a shot gets deflected up towards the roof and strikes one of the lowest hanging lights you'll ever see in a hockey rink. Once the puck strikes the glass it falls down on-top of the goalie.
Luckily no one was injured by the falling glass. But that is an unfortunate situation that likely took some time to clean up.
