Montreal Canadiens' prospect Jayden Struble a 2nd round pick, selected 46th overall in 2019 is leaning towards returning to Northeastern University for his fourth year per Elliotte Friedman. If Struble decides to go this route then he would be free to sign with any team he chooses in the Summer of 2023.
The 20-year-old prospect, Struble is known to be a supremely physical defender with excellent skating ability. The Canadiens have some good young defenseman in the cupboard in Justin Barron and Kaiden Guhle. Both have a higher offensive ceiling than Struble but don't bring the physical aspect as much as he does.
If Struble isn't willing to commit his future to the Habs you'll definitely see his name come up in Trade Rumors because they will want to get some sort of return on their 2nd round pick.
