Intriguing name yet to decide on where to play next season
The National Hockey League not raising the salary cap this year has put most teams in a bind. Executives want to sign free agents, but need to clear cap space first. There are some intriguing names without a home for the 2022-23 NHL season.
According to Greg Wyshynki of ESPN one of those names is Sonny Milano.
Teams are interested in the forward, but no one has the cap space to be able to pull the trigger on a deal yet. As a result, the door for a return to the Anaheim Ducks is still open.

Milano, 26, had his best season in the NHL by far last year tallying 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 point in 66 games. He hasn't really been able to establish himself in any role to this point in his career, hopefully he can carry the momentum he built up last season, forward.
Worse comes to worse, if the Ducks can't clear cap space, maybe a change of scenery helps the forward find his game even more at this level.
